About Restock Blog
Founded in 2021 by Kai Nakamura, Restock Blog started as a personal project born out of frustration — missing out on one too many sneaker drops and GPU restocks. What began as a simple guide for friends has grown into one of the internet's most trusted resources for restocking knowledge.
Our Story
After spending months refreshing retailer pages and joining every Discord server he could find, Kai realized that the information restockers needed was scattered across dozens of platforms, buried in threads, and often outdated within days. There was no single, reliable source that covered the entire restocking ecosystem — from sneakers to GPUs, from retailer timing patterns to the tools that actually work.
So he built one.
Restock Blog launched with a handful of guides and a simple promise: provide free, actionable, thoroughly researched content that helps everyday buyers compete for products at retail price. No paywalls, no gatekeeping, no hype — just the information you need to cop.

Kai is a self-taught developer and sneaker enthusiast based in Los Angeles. After spending years in the restock trenches — from camping outside Foot Locker at 4 AM to writing Python scripts that monitored Best Buy's API — he channeled that obsession into building Restock Blog. When he's not tracking product drops, he's building tools to make the process easier for everyone.
